As part of its commitment to nation-building, ALINDECO maintains


a 17-hectare Abaca Nursery in nearby Basagan, Tabaco, Albay and
in Labnig, Malinao, Albay.
OUR ADVOCACY :
GROWTH OF ABACA INDUSTRY
In collaboration with the Philippine Fiber Industry Development
Authority (PhilFIDA) and the Local Government Units (LGUs), the
grown abaca suckers are donated to farmlands and farmers for abaca
propagation.

BASIC PULPING PROCESS:

 Thermo-chemical
water –intensive process
employing mechanical energy
and heat, and a suitable
amount of food-grade
chemicals.
FIBER HANDLING & STORAGE

• Fiber classification, inspection & preparation are done at the warehouses


located nationwide at the TAG-FTI buying subsidiaries of ALINDECO.
• High-quality baled fibers are delivered to ALINDECO @125kgs per bale.
• Final quality inspections are done in the ALINDECO Plant
