Vitamins are a group of
small molecular weight
Definition of amine compounds that
have a vital function
Vitamins metabolism any
organism, which cannot
be produced by the body
The Types of Vitamins
(Fat-soluble vitamins)

Vitamin A, also known as retinol, is a

vitamin that plays a role in the Vitamin D is also one of the types of
formation of good sense of vision, vitamins that are found in animal foods,
especially at night, and as one of the such as fish, eggs, milk, and dairy
constituent components of the eye products, such as cheese
pigment in the retina. Such as red chili,
carrot, banana, and papaya
Vitamin E plays a role in maintaining the Vitamin K plays a lot of role in the
health of various tissues in the body, formation of good circulatory system and
ranging from skin tissues, eyes, red blood wound closure. Therefore, we need to
cells to the liver.Vitamin E is found in fish, consume a lot of milk, egg yolks, and fresh
chicken, egg yolks, yeast, and plant oils vegetables that are a good source of
vitamin K for the fulfillment of needs in the
body
The Types of Vitamins
(Water-soluble vitamins)

In the body, vitamin C also serves as a collagen forming compound

which is an important protein in the composition of skin tissues,
joints, bones, and other supporting tissues

Vitamin B in general, the vitamin B group plays an important

role in metabolism in the body, especially in the case of energy
release during the activity. It is related to its role in the body,
which is as a coenzyme compound that can increase the rate of
metabolic reaction of the body to various types of energy
sources

Vitamin B1, also known as thiamin, is one of the types of

vitamins that have an important role in maintaining skin health
and help convert carbohydrates into energy that the body
needs for daily routine

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) plays a lot of important role in

metabolism in the human body. In the body, vitamin B2
acts as one of the Coenzimflavin mononucleotide (Flavin,
FMN) and Siberia in Dinukleotide Flavin (Siberia
dinucleotide, FAD).
Vitamin B3 is also known as niacin. This Vitamin plays an important
role in carbohydrate metabolism to produce energy, fat metabolism,
and protein.

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) is widely involved in enzymatic

reactions in the body. This causes vitamin B5 to play a major role
in various types of metabolism, such as in the breakdown of
nutrition, especially fat

Vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, is an essential Vitamin

for body growth. This Vitamin acts as one of the compound
coenzyme A that the body uses to produce energy through the
synthesis pathways of fatty acids, such as spingopids and
phospholipids.

Vitamin B12 or cyanocobalamin is a type of vitamin that is

only specifically produced by animals and not found in
plants. Therefore, vegetarians often experience impaired
body health due to the deficiency of this vitamin
Vitamin function in
general

Vitamins play a role in several stages of

metabolism energy reaction, growth, and
maintenance of the body, generally as
coenzyme. Most of the coenzyme is in the form
of apoenzymes, which are protein-bound
vitamins.
