GRASAS : Materia que va desde sólido a semisólido y
es producto de la dispersión de un agente espesador y
un liquido. Generalmente son aceites que contienen
jabones como agentes que le dan cuerpo. Se utiliza en
cojinetes de fricción
y antifricción, levas, guías, correderas, rodamientos
y engranajesbiertos.

ACEITES :
Producto en estado líquido, constituido por moléculas
largas hidrocarbonadas complejas. Pueden ser
órganicos (animal y vegetal) o mineral.
Es utilizado en compresores, motores de combustión
interna, reductores, transformadores y como fluidos
hidráulicos.
