PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2

What have you experienced?

We have had a wonderful trip where we

have experienced the connection with
nature, we have camped for two nights in
the open air, seeing and appreciating the
stars, drinking chocolate with cakes. During
the day we have made a walk through the
desert, enjoying the best of the landscapes,
we have gone to the astronomical
observatory and the museum valley.
PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2

Have you experienced it alone?

No, we have been in a group of friends.

What hayou lived exactly? Event / activity 1

ve In Villavieja department of Huila is the tatacoa desert.

I spent a night in the desert during the hottest season.
We traveled for 45 minutes in an inter-municipal bus and
then we walked for a while into the desert. We were four
people in total; all women and colleagues from the
University decided to spend a weekend getting to know
this beautiful and astrological place.
PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2
What have you lived exactly? Event / activity 2:

Sunscreen and mosquito repellent are necessary, as it is effectively

the second largest arid area in Colombia, it also occupies 330 square
kilometers of ocher and gray earth with the beautiful cacti
accompanying the landscape. The desert is divided into two sectors,
the "Cuzco" in which you can see the ocher-colored terrain and the
"Holes", in which its representative color is gray. Along the route,
along an uncovered but passable road, you can see mysterious forms
that are created on clay surfaces, generating labyrinth gullies and
what makes the landscape even more surprising, is the deep blue of
the sky, due to its geographical location, the times rains become
scarce.

During the bike tour, I had to stop several times, not

constellations. The atmospheric conditions are perfect for
this observation, because our precious desert does not
have light or hearing pollution ... peace and tranquility.

What have you lived exactly?

Event / activity 4 • The decision to have camped was the
best, because after having been able
to observe the moon and different
planets from incredible telescopes.
PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2

How did it end?

• The dream overcame us contemplating

the vast sky that always accompanies
us. In short, I recommend the visit for
those who want to breathe fresh air, feel
the sound of nature and have peace of
mind. Colombia, a magical place
PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2

How much have you liked what you

experienced?

What we have experienced is something that you cannot

learn by reading stories like this, watching videos on social
networks or listening to those who have experienced it, even
though we try to capture all these moments through photos, it
is something that only when we discover it; it is a fascinating
and unique experience.
PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2

why? what is the learning message?

If I recommend it because it is a
very beautiful place full of nature
and has a mixture of colors, which
captivate visitors.
PROJECT WORK-PHASE 2

How helpful is it for your life?

I will remember this experience every time I go

for a walk and I will always tell it as it was
unique and unforgettable for all the things that
happened to us when camping, observing
things like the galaxy, the moon because they
are very beautiful things.
