on the day after the date of their
notification in the Gazette.( 18th day
of June 2001)

Regulations Revocation order 2018
United Nations Sanctions (LIBERIA)
Regulations 2001 (SR 2001/134) are revoked.
This order which comes into force on April
5,2018, revokes the UN’S Sanctions (Liberia)
Regulations 2001 . Those regulations imposed
prohibitions relating to certain transactions with
Liberia following various UN’ Security Council
resolutions, is revoked on May 3,2018

Liberia Prohibited
III. Carriage of Arms To Liberia Prohibited
IV. Liability of owner, charterer, master, or pilot

POLICIES/ PROHIBITION
IMPLEMENTED
Liability for breach of regulations
Every person who attempts to commits any offense
against any regulation made under this Act shall be liable
on conviction, in case of an individual , to imprisonment
for a term not exceeding 12 months or to a fine not
exceeding $10,000 or in case of a company or
corporation, to a fine not exceeding $100,000

List of Sanctions
The publication in the Gazette or in accordance with the
Legislation Act 2012 of any regulations made under this Act of
any order in council , Proclamation, order, notice, warrant,
license,or other act of authority under this act or under the
regulations must be treated for all purposes as being notice of
the act of authority to all persons concerned, and in any
prosecution the liability of the defendant must be determined
accordingly

Nothing in this Act or in any regulation made shall be so


construed or shall so operate as to take away or restrict the
liability of any person fpr any offense punishable independently
of this Act, but no person shall be punished twice for the same
difference.
