Maha-Visnu and Krishna and Arjuna. Arjuna is control Krishna, who controls
maya or sleep, therefore he is GUDAKESA. Pramukhatam means to Bhisma,
Drona and all kings.

If to kill unrelativies is not benefit, how can be benefit to kill relativies?
K: But you will get kingdom, fame and happiness. It is visible results.

K: apart from others these sons of Dr should be killed, it is possible to be happy
having killed those who commit so much troubles.
A: what peace will we have after their killing. For temporary happiness we
getting eternal suffering in hell. If it necessary to kill them, please do it yourself,
for your(JANARDANA) it will be no sin.
36. Artha sastra says that we can kill agressors, but we remain
to live in sin. Dharma sastra is higher and throught they are
agressors they are acaryas and if we kill them we will incur sin.
• (Tasmat) we can no achieve happiness in this life. How we can enjoy without
our relatives and friends. MADHAVA, the husband of auspicioness Lakshmi, why
do you want me to inistigate in this war?
37-38 A:Why do the opposite side wanted to fight?
K: They overcome by greed do not see any sins in
destroying family and killing friends.
• Ksatrya can reject to fight and to play.
A: They are motivated by greed, but we are NOT. If the result will be sinful<
then why us to do so. We can reject to fight, therefore family will not destroy.

ksatrya, but in you, my friend, it is not proper at all.
A:I am not coward. I doing dharma in regard of Bhisma, Drona and other eldest, and the aspect of
compassion in regard od Dr. sons, who are weaker than I, and will be killed my weapon.
K: THERE NO dharma and compassion. There is lamentation, which indicates weak mind. Therefore
give up this lamentation and afflict the enemies, o PARANTAPA.
A: I am trembling because of destruction of relatives. How can I akt?
K:By the mercy of Indra, you are the son of Prithi, such behaviour not good for
ksatrya, you have the strength to conquer all universe and you are a friend of My,
SUPREME LORD!
A: it is not a cowardice, it is judgment in Bhisma and compassion to sons od DR,
who will die under my arrows.
K: It is not judgment. It is transitory weakness of the heart. Give it up and go to
the fight, o PARANTAPA! Don’t be the laughting stock of the enemies.
4. A:In the laws of dharma they are worth for worshipping and they can not be the cause of boundage. I withdraw from fighting.
K: But they will fight against you why you are don fight against them.
A: I should offer them flowers to feet with devotion rather then sharp arrows with anger. Even you engure only enemies, but not
your Guru, Sandipani Muni, or your friend Yadu. O Madhusudana, killer of Madhu!
K; But I am descendent of Madhu, thterfore I am Madhava…How can I kill them?)))
A: I told about demon Madhu. O, arisudana.

• If Bhisma and others attacks you, why you are not attacks them! It is the rule
for ksatrya not turn from battle when challenged.
A: They are my teachers, and I can attack them even with joking words. I should
worship them with the flowers
Twice named Krishna – ARI and Madhu sudana…You kill enemies, but not kill
your guru…
5 K:If don’t want the kingdom, how you will live?
A:I will live by begging, it sinful act for ksatrya in this life, but it will be no sin in next. Nobody should think that
they should be rejected. They are great souls and won the time and death.
K: Bhisma said that he was bound by wealth of Dr. And they good quality was destroyed by this contiminations,
wouldnt they?
A: If I kill them, I wont be happy. Thought they are contaminated by greed, they are still my guru. And after
killing my enjoyment will be mixed with their blood.
• K: How you will maintain yourself?
A: Better live by begging, it is sin in this life, but no sin in next.
K: You should also reject Drona and Bhisma, thought they are you guru. Because
they lost discrimination of wright and wrong, because of association with D-na.
Sruti says – REJECT THEM.
A: But they are the greatest MAHANUBHAVA- they controlled time,life, and live
like brahmacari.
K: But Bhisma said….------, therefore he should be killed.
A: If I kill them, and will enjoy in this life, I wont to enjoty in next life, because it
mixed with their blood. Thought they are pride, they still are worthy of respect.
It manifest that still Arjuna accept they like his guru.
6 I do know, even I prepare to kill them, can I win?
And I don’t know what is better win or lose for me.
Even if I win, that is also defeat, so I dont want to live.
• K:You know that begging is censured for ksatrya, but you still don want it, you criticize the
fighting?
A: I don’t know what is better live by begging, of do my duty to fight?
Also I don’t know win I or lose…
• K: You win certainly, because you are stay in dharma and youe prowess in fight.
A: I don’t want live, after killing them. What says about enjoying of fruits. If we win we will
be defeated by the terms of results. So I cant see superiority of fightina over begging.
This shows qualification Arjuna for gyana the verse fron sruti about qualities of good
person. IN The 1 chapter 32 verse he shows sama and dama in words ‘what is the use of
kingdom, enjoyment and living?’. He shows indifference for enjoy in this life and next life in
35 verse by words:’ I will not desire to kill them, even if I have three worlds. When he tells
about living in begging, he shows tolerance for living in duality(titiksa), faith in guru will
show in next verse( sraddha). One is qualified to get knowledge, if he has this traits.
7K:Indeed, speaking of scripture, you decided to become a beggar, what is the use
of my speaking.
A: I am bewildered. The path of dharma is very subtle. Please decide it for me.
K: But you defeat my words and posing like a learned?
A: no, I wont oppose you. I am your student.
This verse illustrates acceptance of the guru. The person who has a guru know
the LORD. Karpanya indicates no knowledge of Brahmana. Krpana is that who
leaves this world without knowing of Brahmana.
A: I feel weakness and affection to family because I don’t know the Brahmana. I
don’t know what to do because of my lamentation, please teel me what to do. It
advice helps now practically and in long perspective helps me.
K: Tad vigyanartham…How can I teach you, cause you are my friend…?
A: I am your student now.
8.K:How I can teach you, you are my friend, no respect because! You should accept someone
like Vyasadeva, who you really respect.
A: No one in three worlds, who can destroy my sorrow, and no one more intelligent then you,
even Bhrihaspati. My feels are drying up like small pond by summer heat.
K: Now you are grief, but getting the kingdom you will be joyfull.
A: Even I attains all world, even the Svarga, my feels will be dried up.
• K: You know the scriptures, why do you want me to be a guru, friend?
A: I don’t know what action will destroy my lamentation. Therefore I surrender
to you, cause you destroy my lamentation.
K: Now you are afflicted of lamentation, but when you win an grt kingdom, you
lamentation will destroy.
A: If I win I will get this kingdom, and if I killed I go to Svarga. But still it is not
destroy my lamentation. Please tell me how to fight beneficial.
9…10. Krshna can put Arjuna in ocean of lamentation, but as
Arjuna is a disciple Krshna just little smile. The Lord was controlled
by Arjunas words in 1.24. Now hrisikesa controls the mind of
Arjuna for his profit. It could see the both armies.
• 9 DR. what did they do? Sanjaya answers in this verse, Arjuna says I will not
fight. The Govinda(knower of all Vedas) means, the Krshna will engage Ar in
battle. Therefore this words by Sanjay will destroy the hope of Dr.
10. This verse shows , how the Lord began to speak manifest the hidden
meaning. The instructions of the Lord will begin in next verse, now his lower
lips a little smile, because Ar is his disciple now. And this conversation was open
for ALL people in field of battle.
