WHAT IS ERDMP?

● Emergency” means a situation or


scenario which has the potential to
cause serious danger to persons,
environment or damage to property.
● Emergency tends to cause
disruption inside and / or outside
the premises and may require the
help of outside resources.
● Disaster management plan“ means
a well coordinated, comprehensive
response plan to contain loss of life,
property, environment
● Plan provides speedy and effective
recovery by making the most
effective use of available resources
in case of a disaster

CLASSIFICATION OF EMERGENCIES AND
IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE
● As per the regulation emergencies are classified into

Note: Level-1 and Level-2 shall normally be grouped as onsite emergency and
Level-3 as off-site emergency.

INTEGRATION OF ERDMP WITH NDMP AND SECURITY
THREAT PLAN

● Integration of ERDMP with NDMP


● Security Threat Plan
- Emergency Action in case of Bomb Threat :
• The persons inside the Plant should be evacuated as soon as possible.
• All the vehicles in the plant premises should be evacuated to safer places.
• Plant personnel should contact district authorities immediately.
• Any new or doubtful thing should not be touched.
• All pipeline and tank valves should be closed and all the operations inside the
Bottling Plant should be stopped.
• In case of fire, firefighting equipment shall be operated and city fire brigade
should be called immediately during emergency.
- Note: A detailed action plan on bomb threat to be prepared by each
installation and should be vetted by the Police Authority specialist in this
area under information to PNGRB.
