GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the daily sales, revenue and overall positioning of Velaa Private Island and the development of
customer and partner relationships for the property.
• Represent Velaa Private Island at regional industry, tradeshows, conferences and events.
• Establish close relationships with partners within the European market.
• Plan and execute sales calls as well as organise events, trainings and webinars.
• Communicate effectively to ensure that the sales functions are carried out smoothly and targets are met.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior sales positon at a 5 star luxury hotel/resort or similar.
• Candidates must have a dynamic, positive and energetic leadership style, hold excellent communication and
decision making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the European market with experience within the DACH market is required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German is required, additional European languages will be an added
advantage.
• Pleasant personality with excellent grooming.
• Ability to travel extensively based on business requirements within Europe.
• Strong focus on business development.
• Disciplined and able to work independently and take the responsibility for your own markets with the right
support.
• An excellent team player within the sales team.
• A bachelors or masters degree in hospitality management would be an added advantage.
