• Different terms are used to donate human resource management. They are: labour management, labour

administration, personal management, human capital management. Though these terms can be differentiated

wildly, human resource management means employing people, developing their resources, utilizing

maintaining and compensating their services in tune with the job and organizational requirements.
Nature and Scope of HR

• People in any organization manifest themselves, not only individual sections but also through

group interaction. When individuals come to work place they come with not only technical skills,

knowledge and etc., but also with their personal feelings, perception, desires, motives,, attitude,

values and etc.

• Therefore, employee management in an organization does not mean management of only technical skills but

also other factors of the human resources( soft skills and behavior)

Organizing:

• Thus, organization establish relationship among the employees so that they can
collectively contributes to the attainment of company goals.
Directing:

• The basic management of any level is motivating, commanding,


leading, and activating people. The willing and effective co-operative
of employees for the attainment of organizational goals, is possible
through proper direction.
Controlling:
After planning, organizing and directing the various activities of the management
are controlling.

Controlling involves checking, verifying, and comparing of the actuals activities


with the planes, identification of deviations, if any, and correcting of identified
deviations.

• Employment cover the functions such as, job analysis, human resource

planning, recruitment, selection, placement, induction and internal

mobility.
Job analysis
‫دیو مشخصه وظیفي دمعلومات راټولولو پروسه بلل کیږي چي مسئولیتونه او عملي کړني‬
‫څرګندوي او والندي ټکو ته شاملیږي‬.

Collecting of data, information, facts and ideas relating to various


aspects of jobs including 3 M.

Preparation of job description and job specification, requirement, and


employee specification which will help in identifying of the nature.

Providing the guides, plans and basis for job design

 Estimate of present and future requirements and supply of human resource

based on range of the organization plan.

 Preparation of action programs to get rest of human resources from outside

the organization and to develop the human resource of existing employees.

• Performance Appraisal:
It is the systematic evaluation of individuals with respect to their performance on
the job and their potential for development.

• Training:
It is the process of imparting the employees the technical and operating skills and
knowledge.
• Management Development:
It is the process of designing and conducting executive development programs so as
to develop the managerial and human relations skills of employees.

• Career Planning and Development:


It is the planning of one’s career and implementation of career plans by means of education, training,
job search, and acquisition of work experiences.
• Organization Development:
It is a planned designed to improve organizational effectiveness and health through
modifications in individual and group behavior, cultural and systems of the
organization using knowledge and technology of applied behavior science.
