of law they are considered as Illegal.

 The State shall Endeavour to bring


about prohibition of intoxicating drinks and
drugs which are injurious to health.
Who are responsible for Drug Control
1. Narcotics Control Bureau
2. Border Security forces.
3. State Police Department

1. Lack of information network and intelligence.
2. Lack of Control over grass root Level of drug distribution
chains.
3. Failure to detect the drugs smuggling across the state borders.

Suggested Actions to prevent illegal drug
abuse

1. Mass Implement the plan of Kozhikode police which launched The projects

titled ADAPT (Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention . aims at protecting school

children from the clutches of drug dealers.

2. Strengthened surveillance on the borders 

3. District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF)  in all the Districts.

1. Conducting raids in suspected area and regular checking.

Conclusion

• Drug abuse is due to lack of awareness or attention

• Individual must ensure their contribution to curb menace.

• New and effective policy of Drug abuse Control.

• Strict actions to be taken against a public servent involved

in Aiding drug dealings and smuggling
