Compared with other artificial equipments, PCP system is

cheaper and has lower power consumption. It has higher
pump efficiency for lifting viscous, sandy, waxy, or gassy
liquid both in vertical wells and horizontal wells.

For example:
GLBI20-27 is a single PCP that capacity is 120ml per rotation
and has 27 stages.

Electrical control system

The control panel using for controlling
the PCP well, that meaning to start or
stop the PCP equipment, also the control
panel can show the running ampere,
voltage, frequency, and has the function
to protect the system from over load or
under load.

Surface Equipment

The surface equipment is the one of the most

important parts of PCP system, it transfer the power
from surface to down-hole rotor, and then lift the liquid
from down-hole to ground.

Horizontal Drive Equipment

Main Characteristics of Drive Equipment:
1. The reducer with gear-driven by prod tooth
sectors or without reducer but transmission strap
drive, both are reliable, stable motion and have low
noise
2. Polished rod seal box with reliable seal and no
leakage consists of mechanical seals, packing seals,
and their combination ；
3. Back spin brake is mechanical backstop, simple,
reliable, and flexible.

4. The hollow spindle of reducer is sealed with oil
cup, no leakage of oil ；
5. Surface drive equipment is called as
“environment concern” product because of its no
leakage of crude oil and lubricant oil

6. Realize the continuous speed regulation after use

the frequency converter.

The main function of reducer is transfer
power from surface to down-hole and from
electrical to mechanical power, also it can
change the rotation speed and transfer the
load of rod to production tree.

The motor is the power resource of PCP

system. The PCP system always uses three
phases explosion proof asynchronous
motor.

Back spin Brake

To prevent back spin in case of a PCP
shutdown or pump stuffed.

The hazard of back spin:

Damage the parts of drive head caused by the back spin rod;
Safety hazard to operator.

Down-Hole Equipment

Stator is made of high hard-wearing nitrile

rubber by method of compression, has a
good hard-wearing, mechanical, chemical
and swelling property to fit the hazard
well operation condition.

Rotor is made of high-quality alloy steel

using advanced processing, the surface of
the rotor is plaint with 0.3mm hard
chrome, and it has a good anti-sand and
hard-wearing capability.

Hollow rotor PCP
Aiming at the problem of the general PCP
washing well has a small volume and high
press, and also has to use a rig to lift the
rotor out of the stator.
Innovating the techniques of hollow rotor
PCP washing well, change the general
solid rotor into hollow rotor, forming a free
passage for a great volume liquid in
washing well.

the time of washing well from 6h to 2h, the
cost of washing well drops by 50%.

General solid sucker

oilfield nowadays, it is
convenient and easy
to use in the wells
without special well
conditions.
For the PCP sucker rods support heavy load consists of
pull stress and twist stress, the condition of which was
difficult, so the sucker rod choice should according to the
real condition of the well and pump, also together with
the customer’s special request.

Accessory Equipment

Torque anchor
It prevents the stator/or tubing from backing off
due to rotational torque. This tool is designed
for set up in 7” or 5 1/2” casing and allow for
easy running and retrieval in heavy oil wells.
The torque rating for the tool exceeds torque
rating of the tubing connection.
The torque anchor is installed at the bottom of
pump, fix stator on tubing to prevent stator and
tubing backing off.

Accessory Equipment
Centralizer
The rod centralizer is used to prevent the
rotational wear of the tubing by the rods. The
rod centralizers will be easily installed, non-
rotating and prevent rod coupling wear.
After calculating the rod/tubing load, the rod Rod centralizer
centralizer are made of 20 to 30 pieces for
one well, the rod centralizer will be made of
anti-corrosive nylon with high strength, it is
installed on centralizer spindles, can prevent
sucker rod rotating wear tubing.
The pump centralizer is used to centralize the Pump centralizer
tubing string when PCP is running.
