Designed to communicate
• In total up to 4 communication modules per
SIPROTEC 5 device in any combination
• Serial and Ethernet-based
communication modules
• Electrical and optical versions
• Flexible IEC 61850 Engineering
• IEEE C37.118 support of multiple PDCs
Note:
Maximum 5 of the Continuous recorder and maximum 2 Trend
recorder are available.
FW < 7.x are in total maximum 5 of the both recorder types
configurable. Following configuration are in DIGSI 5 possible:
• 5 Continuous recorder and 0 Trend recorder
• 4 Continuous recorder and 1 Trend recorder
• 3 Continuous recorder and 2 Trend recorder
Zoomed fault record with RMS values (50 values per second, every 20 ms)
Trend recorder (works like a continues recorder, but did not have a defined averaging time. The recorder
have a defined tolerance band e.g. to could save the values of frequency or voltage related events in extreme
cases every 10 ms)
Zoomed trend record (Measured values could be saved in extreme cases every 10 ms)
• Data of the Sequent Of Event recorder are in a similar way available as the operational Log file, here just
the status changes of the connected Binary Signals will be monitored only access via DIGSI 5
• From FW V6.x the Binary signals will be also availably in the Trend recorder and it will be possible to
transfer this information via IEC 61850 to e.g. to SICAM PQS as a PQDIF file
The Trend recorder support 50 (MV) or 200 (SPS) 1 MV = 4 SPS
The following configurations are possible for the Trend recorder:
• e.g. 50 (MV) and 0 (SPS)
• e.g. 25 (MV) and 100 (SPS)
• e.g. 0 (MV) and 200 (SPS) when the user like to use it as a SOE
• The PQR (Power Quality recordings) is just the functionality of the device
• This necessary Voltage Quality Information could be stored e.g. in the Continuous recorder and in the Trend
recorder
• The necessary functions which are generating e.g. Measured values as a Flicker, Harmonics, Voltage
related events will be handled in a Function Block (FB) which are consuming "Function Points"
• PQ 10/12cyc (contains basic measurements of 200 ms) available from FW V6.x
• PQ Trend (Voltage related events e.g. unbalanced voltage, frequency) available from FW V6.x
• PQ Flicker (Pinst "instantaneous former P5", Pst and Plt) available from FW V6.x
• PQ 10/12cyc Har (Harmonics, THD and TDD) available from FW V7.8x
• PQ 10/12cyc IntH (Interharmonics for Voltage and Current Signals) available from FW V7.8x
• PQ 150/180cyc Har (contains harmonics basic measurements of 3 s) just necessary for Class A
available from FW V7.8x
• PQ 150/180cyc IntH (contains interharmanics basic measurements of 3 s) just necessary for Class A
available from FW V7.8x
