 To ensure safe and effective nursing care, nurse need to keep abreast with interest,
knowledge and technical advances.

RESPONSIBILITY OF NURSE ADMINISTRATOR TO
CONNECT RESEARCH TO THEIR PRACTICE:

Nurse administrators would conduct administrative or


clinical research finding out the best practices applicable
to those domains. When managing a clinical unit, the
professionals carries the burden of keeping abreast not
only clinical research but also the management literature

TO CONNECT RESEARCH TO THEIR
PRACTICE:

Nurse educators can model research utilization by


talking about clinical research report while teaching
and also by showing students how they personally
have utilized research in their teaching activity.
RESEARCH INPUT
A research study was conducted from April 2012 to February 2013 in
Isfahan, Iran. This study was designed to explore the challenges of nursing
continuing education in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences hospitals.
In this descriptive explorative qualitative research, They interviewed 39
participations in five focus groups and five individual groups. The
participants were both learners and planners of continuing education
programme. The outcome of this study was the participants faced problems
related to factors, related to learners and teachers, educational process
related factors and inadequate facilities and defective evaluation.
