Characteristics of a Computer
1. Speed – it can execute several instructions
and high – volume of data at high speed.
2. Reliability – it can perform tasks
repeatedly even for long periods of time.
3. Accuracy – it can process large amounts of
data and perform tasks repeatedly without
committing mistakes provided that the
given instruction is accurate.
Characteristics of a Computer
1. Storage – it is capable of storing large amounts of
data that must be located and retrieved very
quickly.

2. Productivity – it is capable of doing several tasks

at the same time.
Limitations of a Computer
It cannot make decisions or think for
itself.
It is capable of detecting errors in a
program, it is not capable of correcting
it. It still needs human to correct the
program.
It cannot distinguish if the data given
by the user is correct.
