INTRODUCTION
Mandatory benefits are the government of the country (state or federal
law) legally requires or mandates that the employees must receive
from their employers as a matter of law.
A company should offer a benefits package that meets employee
needs, employment act and maintain its competitive advantages.
An effective compensation and employee benefit plan rewards and
recognizes the best company employees.
Successful employee benefits strategies raise productivity, increase
employee retention, and have a positive impact on the bottom line.
The mandatory benefits are different from one country to another
countries.

Sick leave If the employee has worked for at least 3 months but
less than 4 months for the company: The employee is
entitled to 5 days of sick leave per year, and 15 days of
hospitalization leave (inclusive of the 5 days).
Annual leave To qualify for annual leave, the employee must have
served at least 3 months with the employer. The given
an annual leave is around 14 days per year.
Maternity leave Female employees that have been employed for more
than 3 months may be eligible for paid maternity leave
benefits. Eligible female employees are entitled to a
total of 16 weeks leave. Employers are prohibited
from dismissing any employees on maternity leave.
Working hour The working hours each day must not exceed eight
hours. If the working time of any day is less than eight
hours, the employer and the employee can agree to
add the working time on another working day, but it
must not exceed nine hours per day, and the total
working hours must not exceed 48 hours per week.
