Career Pathways Offered

• What is a Career Pathway?


– A pathway is series of 3 or more
career/vocational courses in the same
subject area.
– These courses should be taken in order
to ensure students are properly
prepared.
– After completing all the required courses,
students take an “End of Pathway
Assessment.”
• If you pass, you will receive a “career
credential,” which can be included on your
resume and help with job placement.

• What is articulation?
– Students can earn technical college credit for
high school courses successfully passed.
• How does it work?
– Earn at least an 80 in the course.
– Request a “Request for Articulated Credit
Validation Exam” form.
– Enroll at Columbus Technical College within 1
year.
– Present the form and your high school
transcript to Columbus Tech.
– Earn at least a 70 on the validation exam.
