Diarrhea

Diarrhea is when your bowel movements become loose or watery.

passing 3 or more times in a day. For most people diarrhea is just an
annoyance maybe because of bad diet, but when it’s severe it kills
millions of people. The diarrhea caused from IBS is just a symptom,
it’s not lethal, but it may be for some people.

Fatigue and Sleeping
Difficulty
Sleeping difficulty is when you have trouble sleeping at night, which
causes fatigue. It may be hard to fall asleep, or may wake up several
times throughout the night. It may affect your physical and mental
health and may cause frequent headaches and also could stack on
you some excreta weight! This is how important sleeping is. Sleeping
also regulates your heart beat and a lot more benefits, IBS prevents
them by preventing you from sleep.

Constipation
Constipation refers to bowel movements that are infrequent or hard
to pass. Which is the opposite of diarrhea. Symptoms of constipation
may include abdominal pain, bloating, and feeling as if fecal matter
has not completely passed the bowel movement. Complications
from constipation may include hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids: swollen veins in the lower part of the anus and rectum. Hemorrhoids can be
unpleasant and painful

Getting diagnosed
Your GP will ask about your symptoms, such as:
•what symptoms you have
•if they come and go
•how often you get them
•when you get them (for example, after eating certain foods)
•how long you've had them

*GP: a doctor based in the community who treats patients with minor or chronic illnesses and refers
those with serious conditions to a hospital.

What happens if you're diagnosed with
IBS?
Your pain from the symptoms is related to your bowel movements.
Fortunately IBS does not lead to serious disease, such as cancer. It
also does not permanently harm the large intestine, but it causes a
lot of pain.
