MADE OF NATURAL FIBERS • cotton • wool • linen • hemp • silk. TYPES OF KNITTING YARNS: YARNS MADE OF SYNTHETIC FIBERS • • polyamid – socks and hosiery, sportswear, underwear; • • polyester – all kinds of garments, underwear; • • polyacrylonitryl – garments, socks; • • polypropylene – sportswear, socks (generally for color designs); • • • aramide – high modulus garments and gloves. YARN DELIVERY SYSTEM The main objectives of yarn delivery system are as follows: • To supply the machine with processed textile material, usually yarn, in sufficient quantities, to unwind the yarns from bobbins and to guide the yarns into the knitting mechanism. • To control the quantity of the yarn supply, i.e. the lengths and tensile stresses of the yarns. • To inspect the yarns from different viewpoints and to stop the machine if necessary. The knitting process will be interrupted if a break occurs in the yarn, if the tensile stress is too high or if the yarn becomes too thick in places. YARN SUPPLY SYSTEM ON A CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE Yarns (1) are brought from the bobbins (2), passed through the side creel to the feeder (3) and finally to the yarn guide (4). ROSEN’S TAPE FEED MECHANISM POSITIVE YARN FEEDING SYSTEM MULTI-COIL POSITIVE FEEDER DEVELOPMENTS OF POSITIVE YARN FEEDERS i-DSCS+DTC has the capability to actively control yarn-feed in both feed and retrieval directions as necessary, through variable electronic control of yarn tension. This results in even higher quality and greater productivity using a wider variety of yarns, including high-speed knitting of challenging yarns such as fancy yarns, stretch yarns, slub yarns and delicate cashmeres. UNIFEEDER 2 (yarn feeding solution by BTSR) represents a breakthrough solution drastically overcoming the state-of-art of storage feeding technology. TOP FEATURES AND BENEFITS: • Real-time Total Yarn Control • High Precision Real-time Yarn Consumption Measurement • Real-time Constant Tension Self-adaptive Technology – • Yarns knots, breaks, tears detection - granting real-time machine stop signaling, thanks to input knot catcher and additional built-in sensors • Yarn and Needles Breakage Prevention - avoiding second-rate products and useless machine stops 1)Ceramic bush for yarn self-threading 2)Yarn-brake device with adjustable pressure 3)Knot catcher blade 4)Lower ceramic bush for yarn self-threading 5)Coil storage revolving drum with optical ring 6)Fixed electromagnetic braking device with yarn unwinding detection encoder 7)Floating Ring outlet removable electromagnetic yarn-brake device 8)Ceramic bush for yarn self-threading 9)Tension sensor loading cell 10) Ceramic bush for yarn self-threading
