What is venture capital?
Venture capital (VC) is a type of private equity, a form of
financing that is provided by firms or funds to small, early-
stage, emerging firms that are deemed to have high growth
potential, or which have demonstrated high growth (in
terms of number of employees, annual revenue, or both).
Structure
Venture capitalist firms differ in their motivations and Types
approaches. There are multiple factors, and each firm
is different.
Venture capital funds are generally three in types: 1.
Angel investors 2. Financial VCs 3. Strategic VCs
Some of the factors that influence VC decisions
include:
