OVERVIEW OF COMPANY
 Fullerton Financial Holdings invests in financial
institutions in emerging markets, bringing an operational
perspective to all investment decisions. It is a wholly
owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, an Asia investment
firm, headquartered in Singapore, focused on creating and
maximizing long-term shareholder value as
 an active investor and shareholder of the
successful enterprises.
 Fullerton Securities & Wealth Advisors Limited is a
company registered under Indian Company Law, incorporated
on 8th February 2008. It offers world-class financial
planning and a wide range of wealth management products
to mass affluent and affluent customer segments across
Tier I and Tier II cities in India. Recently it has
acquired 5% stake in NSE.

Research methodology
 TYPES OF RESEARCH:
Descriptive Research: - It includes surveys and fact

finding enquires of different kinds.


SAMPLING UNITS
 Sampling unit may be a geographical one, such as
state, district, village etc. The researcher will have to
decide one or more of such units that he has to select
for his study.
 In my research study LUDHIANA as a sampling unit.
SAMPLE SIZE
 Sample size refers to the number of items to be
selected from the universe to constitute a sample. I
used 50 samples for my study.
AREA OF STUDY : Clients and employees of Fullerton
Securities and general public (maximum respondents
includes clients of Fullerton)

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is a way to systematically solve the
research problem.
RESEARCH APPROACH
To achieve this objective I have conducted a survey and then

collected data and analyzed it and lastly find out the needed
results
 SAMPLING METHOD
I have used simple random sampling method for my research.

1.Primary data sources: Collected through the questionnaire.


2. Secondary data sources : Magazines, books and internet.

findings
 Long term investment is somewhat more preferable than short
term.
 People does investment in equities more as compared to other
segments of investment
 Many people take decision to invest in stock market as per
opinion of their friends and relatives.
 Maximum number of respondents willing to do investment
instead of trading, as investment is the employment of
funds on assets with aim of earning income or capital
appreciation.

limitations
 Some of the respondent does not give proper answers of
questions.
 Some respondent tries to avoid feeling questionnaire.
 Respondent refuse to give answers of questions.
 Research has been done only in Ludhiana, so the survey is
restricted to only one city.
 Possibility of Error in analysis of data due to small sample
size.
