✘ Only Sovereign States can
become a Member.
✘ Each Member shall have not
more than 5 representatives.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
(Chp. 2, Art. 4 of the UN Charter)
1. Open to all peace-loving states
which accept the obligations contained
in the present Charter and are able and
willing to carry out these obligations.
2. Admission will be effected by a
decision of the Gen. Assembly upon
recommendation of the Security
Council.
