Wi-Max means Worldwide Inter-operability for Microwave access.

Wi-Max is a technology to provide last-mile connectivity to user.

The operating frequency for Wi-Max is 2Ghz to 66Ghz that covers an area of
48km with data transfer rates as high as 70Mbps.

It is also able to provide high speed wireless broadband access to users.
