þ Overall supervision, coordinate/monitoring of Drug

Consignment System.
þ Consolidation of submitted list of items to be consigned.
þ Assist and coordinate with BAC in determination of responsive
consignors and drug price to be used.
þ Coordinate with BAC in the BAC activities such as
advertisement / opening of consignment offers / canvassing of
prices.
þ Advice the Governor regarding guidelines to effectively
enforce / implement Drug Consignment System

þ The Therapeutic Committee which is responsible for the

identification of drugs to be recommended for consignment
and submitting the same to the Consignment Management
Committee shall be composed of the following:

The Bids and Awards Committee which shall be the existing Bids
and Awards Committee of the Province shall have the following
functions:

þ Posting in the Provincial Website of the province·s intention to

consign certain items and/or consignment request;
þ Accredit Consignors, Suppliers, Manufacturers and Dealers in
accordance with existing laws and policies;
þ Undertake selection of consignors for recommendation to the
Consignment Management Committee

The existing pharmacies of the Hospital shall serve as the dispensing unit of the
consigned goods. As such, it shall perform the following task relative to the
consignment:

þ Provide / allocate adequate space for the consigned goods and insure
there would no co-mingling between the consigned items and the regular
items provided / sold by the hospital pharmacy;
þ Conduct regular inventory of the consigned items and furnish and report the
same to the Consignment Management Committee;
þ Inform the Therapeutic Committees of the items being prescribed by
physicians which are not available in the hospital pharmacy either from the
consigned goods or from the regular hospital medicines and supplies;
