Penal Code No 2 of 1983
• Whoever voluntarily causes a woman with a child to miscarry shall be
punished with imprisonment of term which may extend to three years or
with fine or both.

• A woman causes herself to miscarry is within the meaning of above

section.

• Exception : If such miscarry is caused in the good faith of saving

the life of woman.
