development of science.

 1.Medicine
1500:Jackot Nufer was a Swiss man who was the
first person to successfully carry out a caesarean
operation on a woman.

1638:William Harvey was an English man who

propounded the “Blood Circulation”.

Harvey’s greatest achievement was to recognize

that the blood flows rapidly around the human
body, being pumped through a single
William Harvey system of arteries and veins, and to support
this hypothesis with experiments and arguments.

1.Nicholas Copernicus(Polish)- ”Heliocentric” theory

2.John Kepler(Germany)-Improved the theory of Copernicus.

3.Galileo(Italy)-Explained the Copernicus theory, observed moons and rings in

Saturn, declared the world is controlled by natural laws.

4.Sir Isaac Newton(England)- “Laws of gravitation”

During this period many of the concepts and the methods that paved
the way for modern science began to emerge, but there was no
"rebirth" in the sense of the return to the classics that characterized
the literary renaissance. It was a period of questioning, of probing, of
tentative steps forward, of confused viewpoints.
