SOUTHERN LUZON COLLEGE’S

SECURITY AND FACILITY EXPANSION

A Sublime Management Project Proposal
INTRODUCTION

Having a good school infrastructure with good conditions is decisive for

students to achieve the expected academic results. The conditions of the
schools directly impacts the performance of the students. The fact is that a
good school infrastructure, with renewed spaces, makes it possible for children
and youths that live in remote areas to study and, in addition, tends to improve
the attendance and interest of students and teachers in learning. For this same
reason, investments in school infrastructure have an essential role in solving
access problems of students to the school system and to improve their
performance.

To improve the overall security for a school, implementing an enhanced and

updated school ID program is a great step. From identifying students and
faculty, to tracking time and attendance, managing student meal plans, and
even controlling access to school facilities.
MISSION AND VISION

MISSION
Creating and providing innovative, secured and quality facilities for diverse
learning and educational purposes.

VISION
Sublime Management is committed to provide a stable and comfortable
environment where people can be more productive and responsible.
RATIONALE
FACILITY EXPANSION
Southern Luzon College has become a well-known school for its high quality
education and technology, low tuition and miscellaneous fee offers with people
friendly staffs and environment, thus, attracting more student enrolees from basic
education up to college. However, large number of new enrolees requires a larger
space of facilities which the school lacks of, causing some sections to share a single
room. This problem causes distraction, miscommunication, destruction among the
shared tools and equipments inside the room and noise pollution among the students.

In order to reduce the problem, Sublime Management has a proposal of renovation

and expansion of the facilities around the cafeteria area where the kitchen and AVR
rooms are placed. Adding another two (2) floor levels above the existing rooms to
build an another three (3) storey building beside the current building of Southern
Luzon College. This project aims to provide a safe, comfortable with the sense of
privacy extra rooms to welcome the incoming enrolees in the future.
ID PROGRAM

Large number of students requires a much larger security in and outside the
school premises. However, the school’s basic ID cards held a little to no
assurance whether a student’s identity is safe and authentic.

Sublime Management proposes an idea of ID Program updates and

enhancement with the use of the latest technologies to identify students and
faculty, to tracking time and attendance, managing student meal plans, and even
controlling access to school facilities.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
FACILITY EXPANSION

A three (3) storey building with a clinic, cafeteria, kitchen room and two (2) AVR
rooms at the bottom floor. In addition of two (2) floors above with five (5) rooms each.

Date of Construction: April 14, 2019 – December 14, 2020

FUNDRAISING SUPPORTS
TUTORING SERVICES
Members of an on-campus group can raise money by offering tutoring services to
other students. Organizations should find out their members’ academic strengths and
then leverage them as a fundraising tool by helping students who need support in a
particular subject.  Advertise it on bulleting boards and in dorms around school.

BOOK SALE
Whether you’re a student, teacher, or administrator, you certainly have a book or two
at home that has been gathering dust for months or years. Those books can be more
useful than acting as temporary coasters. If you set up a used book sale one Friday
afternoon, all the books that have been lying around can turn into cold, hard, fundraising
cash for your college. Put drop boxes around your school or at local businesses that are
willing to participate. Announce the book drive with fliers, poster, emails, word-of-mouth,
and social media.. If you have leftover books that did not get sold at the book sale, you
can always donate them to local charities, shelters, or your university’s library.
RECYCLING FOR A CAUSE
Raise money and help the environment based on how many pieces of recycling that
students contribute. Not only does this help raise money for a worthy cause, but it also
teaches kids about the value of recycling and environmental preservation. Teachers can
use this as a learning experience to show students how to properly recycle items as well
as what items can have a longer lifespan.

ZOMBIE RUN
May be too spooky for young kids, but it’s perfect for teens and college students, and
even more so around Halloween. Recruit volunteers (maybe teachers?) to dress up as
zombies who then chase the participants as they run the course. This makes for
memorable photos – perhaps ones that could go viral, get it? –and is a real community-
builder.

 TALENT SHOW
Take the annual talent show and give it a fresh twist by adding a fundraising
component. Allow students and faculty to donate towards the goal of revealing a hidden
talent from someone special. Be as intriguing as possible to raise as much money as
possible.
