BUT THEY MUST ABSOLUTELY
AGREE ON THIS:

actually its “ECONOMIC.”

THE SHOE BOX
A man and woman had been
married for more than 60 years.
They had shared everything.
They had talked about everything.
They had kept no secrets to each
other except that the wife had a
SHOE BOX in the top of her
closet that she had
cautioned her husband never to
open it or ask her about it.
For all of these years, he had
never thought about the box, but
one day the wife got very sick
and the doctor said she would
not recover.
In trying to sort out their affairs,
he took down the SHOE BOX
and took
It to his wife’s bed side. She
agreed that it was time that he
should know what was in the
box. When he opened it, he
found two crocheted dolls and
a stack of money totalling
$95,000.
He asked about the contents.
The wife said: “when we were
to be
married, my grandmother told me
that the secret of a happy
marriage was never to argue. She
told me that if I ever get angry with
you, I should just keep quiet and
crochet a doll.
The husband so moved, he had to
hold back tears. He said “there
are only two dolls in the box, so
you
were angry on me for two
times?” The husband while
asking this question burst into
tears.
“But honey, why do you have
$95,000?”.
“Oh” she said” “that’s the money
I made for selling the dolls”.
SACRIFICE OF A WOMAN
WHEN SHE GETS MARRIED:
SHE CHANGES HER FAMILY NAME;
CHANGES HER HOME;
LEAVES HER FAMILY, MOVES WITH
HER HUSBAND & BUILDS A HOME
WITH HIM;
GETS PREGNANT;
PREGNANCY CHANGES HER
BODY;
SHE GETS FAT;
ALMOST GIVES UP IN THE LABOR
ROOM DUE TO THE UNBEARABLE
PAIN OF GIVING BIRTH;
EVEN THE CHILDREN SHE
DELIVERS BEAR THE HUSBAND’S
NAME;
TILL THE DAY SHE DIES ..
EVERYTHING SHE DOES (COOKING,
CLEANING THE HOUSE, TAKING
CARE OF THE CHILDREN, ADVISING
AND ENSURING THAT THE
HUSBAND BE RELAXED) ARE FOR
THE BENEFITS OF THE FAMILY,
THUS BEING A WOMAN IS
PRICELESS.
“Husband and wife must help each
other to attain to holiness in their
married life and by the rearing and
education of their children. This is
so because the family is a kind of
“Domestic Church,” in
which parents should, by their word
and example, be the first preachers
of the faith to their children”.

PINOY RAP RADIO
One young man went to apply for a
managerial position in a big
company. He passed the initial
interview, and now would meet the
Director for the final interview.
The Director discovered from his CV
that the youth’s academic
achievements were excellent. He
asked :”Did you obtain any
scholarship in school? The youth
answered “No”.
“ Was it your father who paid for
your school fees?”
“My father passed away when I was
one year old, it was my mother who
paid for my school fees”, he replied.
“Where did your mother work?”
“My mother worked as clothes
cleaner”.
The Director requested the youth to
show his hands. The youth showed
a pair of hands that were smooth
and perfect.
“Have you ever helped your mother
wash the clothes before?”
“Never, my mother always wanted
me to study and read more books.
Besides, my mother can wash
clothes faster than me”.
The Director said: “I have a
request. When you go home today,
go and clean your mother’s hands
and then see me tomorrow
morning”.
When the youth went home, he
asked his mother to let him clean
his hands. His mother felt strange,
happy but with mixed feelings. She
showed her hands to her son.
The youth cleaned his mother’s
hands slowly. His tear fell as he did
that. It was the first time he noticed
that his mother’s hands were so
wrinkled, and there were so many
bruises. Some bruises were so
painful that his mother winced
when he touched it.
This was the first time that the
youth realized that it was this pair
of hands that washed the clothes
everyday to enable him to pay his
tuition fees.
The bruises in his mother’s
hands were the price that the
mother had to , pay for his
education. his school activities
and his future.
After cleaning his mother’s
hands, the youth quietly washed
all the remaining clothes for his
mother. That night the mother
and son talked for a long time.
Next morning, the youth went to
the Director’s office. The Director
noticed the tears in the youth’s
eyes. He asked: “ Can you tell me
what have you done and learned
yesterday in your house?”
The youth answered:” I cleaned
my mother’s hands and also
finished cleaning the remaining
clothes”.
“I know now what appreciation
is. Without my mother I would
not be who I am today. By
helping my mother, only now do
I realize how difficult and tough
it is to get something done on
your own. And I have come to
appreciate the importance and
value of helping one’s family”.
LESSON OF THE STORY
We can let our children live in a big
house, eat a good meal, learn piano,
watch on a big screen TV. But when you
are cutting grass, please let them
experience it. After a meal, let them
wash their plates and bowls together
with their brothers and sisters. It is not
because you do not have money to hire
a maid, but it is because you
want to love them in a right way.
You want them to understand, no
matter how rich their parents are,
one day their hair will grow gray,
same as the mother of that young
person. The most important thing is
that your child learns how to
appreciate the effort and experience
the difficulty and learns the ability to
work with others to get things done.
It is not what you do for your children
but what you have taught them to do for
themselves, that will make them
successful HUMAN BEINGS….

WIFE ‘S LETTER:
Dear husband:
I’m writing you this letter to tell you
that I’m leaving you for good. I’ve been a
good
woman to you for seven years and
I have nothing to show for it. These
last two weeks have been hell.
Your boss called me that you quit
from your job today and that was
the last straw..
Last week you came home and
didn’t notice that I had gotten my
hair and nails done, cooked your
favorite
meal and even wore a brand new
negligee. You came home and ate
in two minutes, and went straight
to sleep after watching the game.
You don’t tell me that you still love
me, you don’t touch me, or
anything. Either you’re cheating or
you don’t love me anymore,
whatever the case, I’m gone.
P.S.
If you are trying to find me,
don’t. Your BROTHER and I are
moving away to West Virginia
together!.
Have a great life!
Your Ex-wife
HUSBAND’S REPLY
Dear Ex-Wife:
Nothing has made my day more than
receiving your letter. It’s true that you and I
have been married for seven years,
although a good woman is a far cry from
what you have been.
I watch sports so much to try to drown out
your constant nagging. Too bad
that it doesn’t work. I did notice when
you cut off all of your hair last week,
the first thing that came to my mind
“you look just like a man!”. My mother
raised me to not say anything if you
can’t say anything nice.
When you cooked my favorite meal,
you must have gotten me
confused with MY BROTHER,
because I stopped eating pork seven
years ago. I went to sleep on you
when you had on that new negligee
because the price tag was still on it. I
prayed that it was a coincidence that
my brother had just borrowed fifty
dollars from me that morning and
your negligee was $49.99.
After all of this, I still loved you and
felt that we could work it out. So
when I discovered that I had hit this
Lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my
job and brought us two tickets to
Jamaica. But when I got home
you were gone. Everything
happens for a reason, I guess.
I hope you have the fulfilling life
you always wanted. My lawyer said
that with the letter that you wrote,
you won’t get a dime from me. So
take care.
P.S.
I don’t know it I ever told you
this, but Carl, my brother was born
Carla. I hope that’s not a problem.
Your Ex-husband
THANK YOU….
