PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

• Kitchen waste that include waste parts from

Vegetables, waste food products and waste from fully
cooked products, this falls under organic waste type.

• Since organic waste can be decomposes and converted

into manure, which contain most all required nutrients for
plants
• By converting organic waste into manure,we can reduce
the net output of waste from a home

ABSTRACT
• A cost effective portable table top automatic device which would enable kitchen
wastes converted into manure ensuring home based waste management

• Composting is the decomposition of organic waste by microorganisms under

controller conditions

• The designed compost bin aims at reducing the municipal

• solid wastes generated at houses and it helps the user to

make their own natural fertilizer

INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING &
OBJECTIVE
• To design and develop a smart miniature automatic device to convert kitchen wastes
into manure ensuring low cost and compatibility

• The bin consist of 2 layers the 1 layer has the kitchen waste when it reaches above
1000 grams the process get started

• the blades are used to minimise the size of the kitchen wastes next layer used to
make the waste into manuer

EXPECTED OUTCOME
• This project mainly focus on to convert the kitchen
wastes into usable manure.
• Reduced environmental impacts due to reduced soil
erosion, waterlogging,nutrient loss, surface crusting,
eutrophication of waterways, siltation ofwaterways, etc..
• Replaces application of chemical fertilizers, herbicides,
and pesticides. Thisis very important for production of a
quality agricultural product for food industry.
