Purpose of the Study

 To scrutinize the services and features of Pathao.


 To under see the safety and privacy of Pathao app and Pathao ride.
 To extract the perception of people, belonging different age, gender, ethnicity, and
background , towards Pathao.
Significance of the Study

 Facilitates the readers with scrutiny of Pathao.


 Provides insight regarding safety and privacy of Pathao.
 Ensures acknowledgement of current market and popularity, and future scope of Pathao.
Research Gap

 Pathao charging almost 10-15 times compared to public transportation is considered


cheaper means of transportation by most of the respondents.
Research Methodology

 Use of both primary and secondary sources for data collection.


 A sample of 70 consumers of Pathao is included for the study.
 Respondents are provided with questionnaire for the collection of data.
 Collected data is analyzed using mean and correlation.
Findings

 Most of the respondents are;


a. Males,
b. Students, and
c. of age group 20-28 years.
 Bike ride is preferred over car ride.
 Majority of the respondents are satisfied with Pathao services and charge rate, and have
affinity for recommendation.
 There is positive correlation between Pathao service, and internet access, quality ride
and customer security.
Discussion

 The students and age group of 20-28 years are the respondents who usually can not
afford personal vehicles.
 Bike ride being, cheaper than car ride, easier to avoid traffic jams using alternative
routes have gained preference over car ride.
 Social medias being more popular than other forms media, advertising on social media is
a better approach for Pathao.
Conclusion

 Most favorable and acceptable ride sharing brand in Nepal, Kathmandu.


 Pathao can play integral part in current and future e-commerce.
 Pathao should focus on technological advancement to sustain for long run.
Implications

 To sustain for long run, Pathao should focus on customer’s satisfaction.


 Pathao needs to concentrate on various infrastructural problems, more innovative
services and conduction training for drivers.
 Pricing strategy should be checked and monitored considering customers.
