The first phase of the TRICOM initiative focused on HR and Payroll – called for an implementation of the
SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution.

Today the state enjoys a single, integrated solution that standardizes human resources and payroll
processes statewide. This has allowed the state to reduce the number of monthly payroll cycles from 10 to
2.

The state now uses a unique employee ID that stays with the employee from hire to retire. This has also
helped significantly reduce the time required to reconcile healthcare billings.

questions regarding human resources, payroll, time entry, and benefits.
