Air Hostess means playing hostess

in the airplanes. Air hostess also known as Stewards, Stewardesses or flight attendant who help to make flight safe, comfortable and enjoyable for air line passengers.

All major airlines are required by

law to provide flight attendants for the safety of passengers.  They are the first people who welcome the passengers on aircraft.

Responsible for conveying safety rules

& regulations to passengers in flight. Coordinate in the activities of crew and explain all possible conditions of weather or any other issues to passengers. Responsible for safety and care Deal with security and emergency situations.

Check ahead of the flight as to whether

any passengers have special requirements where assistance can be provided. Provide briefings to pilot about flight plans. Stock takes food and drink supplies. Say welcome to all passengers and take proper care for their comfort. Make in-flight announcements. Serve meals and drinks to passengers.

Check tickets and sitting plans of

passengers. Assist passengers in loading carryon baggage and finding their seat belts. Tidy the cabin area in preparation for the next flight. Shifts for domestic flights last nearly 10-14 hours while those for international flights go beyond that. Write a flight report after landing.

Competent, glowing and proficient

with excellence. Fluent Communication Skills. Ideal Height. The ability to work well as part of a team but also use own initiative. Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.

Confidence The ability to use tact and keep

passenger information confidential Physical fitness. Adapt easily to an irregular lifestyle. Lots of stamina and presence of mind under stress. Have a positive attitude.

Edu:- Graduate or three year diploma in

hotel management and catering. Age:-below 25 years Knowledge of English , Hindi or any other foreign language. Height:-157.5 cms.for female and 165 cms. For male. Weight:-as proportionate to height Normal eyesight without glasses, contact lenses are allowed.

Airlines hold written examination

followed by group discussion/interview. Procedure consist of an objective type questioning in English, general knowledge, and simple arithmetic. Shot listed candidates are then called for interview.
