Will there be homework?

Reading Logs 20 minutes 4 night a week at the very minimum, for 80 minutes total per week Expect some type of math homework weekly Sign tests and quizzes with grade of under 70% Finish incomplete daily work

Absences:
Perfect means perfect Notify the school office by 9:00 AM Good attendance will make your childs life easier and grades higher I give students 1 day per school day missed to complete all makeup work Many lessons are hands on and interactive and very difficult to make up

As a part of the Together We SOAR team, you are a valuable partner in making this work! Discuss the matrix with your child. Ask them if theyve earned any SOAR Bucks and how they earned them. Give us your input as to how our system is working. We recognize the importance of working as partners with families and want your input and involvement as we strive to create the best possible school experience for your child.

Snacks/Water Bottles:
Nixa Health and Wellness Policy One nutritious snack per day Simple finger foods Non-messy: no Jell-O, pudding, unpeeled oranges, etc. Only water with snack please Same guidelines for birthdays

Going Home:
Complete Departure Sheet MUST have a note if going home a different way than normal. Please call only in emergency. I am required to follow policy Fridays Early Dismissal (2:40)
