What is logistics?
Management of flow of goods and services. Integration of information, transportation, inventory etc. Reduces operational cost, improves delivery performance and enhance customer satisfaction. The importance of logistics is growing & now the logistics industry has become highly recognized in the global scenario.

Objective
To study in detail the Indian logistics industry. To identify the potential of logistics. To indentify the potential of customer. To make this service(CAMPUS2HOME) familiar among the students. To render this service(CAMPUS2HOME)to the institution & organization for achieving high return.

PROCEDURE FOLLOWED
 Data Collection: 1. List of colleges 2. Contact person details  Visited various campuses all over Pune in the first month of the project and detail information is given to the colleges. At the same time necessary date is collected which includes: 1. Final Exam dates 2. contact person s details  Kept in touch with prospects campuses till their final examination.  Revisited the prospect campuses just before the final year students left the campuses to give detail product information once again and to clear if any queries.  Put posters and pamphlets on the notice boards of the campuses, hostels and respective canteens.

 Key rings are also distributed as sales promotion activity.  Received orders and pick ups are done by the booking branch people of Safexpress with required details (Filled up Consignor s declaration forms).  Collected daily booking report from booking branches and forwarded it to campus2home@safexpress.com and local support team.  Everyday confirmation of order is being picked and if any queries regarding delivery of the consignments, those are forwarded to local CRM team for further clarifications.

CONCLUSION
Most of the students wants to keep voluminous goods like COMPUTER GOODS, FRAGILE GOODS etc. Awareness about the features of our this service is very less regarding the students. Most of the people prefer the fabricated body in the rainy season. Most of the logistic companies are found to be existing in the sub urban areas. Most of the students hesitate to deliver because of the fear that their language can be lost
