Constantinou, learnt the fundamentals of business in his parents' fish and chip shops as a child, in Melbourne in the 1960s.

Started career with a stint in catering and hotel management. Founded Quest Serviced Apartments in Fitzroy, Melbourne in 1988. He has created a chain of more than 100 franchised serviced apartment properties in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji in 19 years. At present serving as the Chairman of Quest Serviced Apartments. Winner of the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year Award (Services)

Soon after commencing his hospitality career, Paul Constantinou recognised that the accommodation industry was failing to meet the needs of the extendedstay business travellers. He identified that the extended-stay business traveller preferred a stylish, spacious and well-appointed serviced apartment that gave the guest a true home away from home experience. It didn t take Paul long to realise his vision and in 1988 he opened the first Quest Serviced Apartment Business Quest Royal Gardens . It has grown and evolved to become the largest serviced apartment provider in Australasia with more than 130 properties in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji and continue to grow

The business idea is to provide serviced apartments, to meet the needs of business and leisure travellers. The properties are owned and operated by franchisees who deliver the Quest experience to the guests, day in, day out. They pride themselves on offering a personalised service, and ensure a comfortable stay for the travellers. Apartments are built by Quest or a developer to exacting specifications, sold to individual investors then leased back to Quest for 25 years. This business model provides investors with a guaranteed tenant and the security of an expected income each year.
