euphemism is a substitution of an expression that may offend or suggest something unpleasant to the receiver with an agreeable or less offensive expression

Euphemisms are generally more of a hindrance than a help to understanding. business communication the goal is clarity, and the very purpose of euphemism is to be vague. be clear, choose words that mean what you intend to convey.
