A specific component of personality that describes particular tendencies a person has to feel, think, and act in certain ways.

Personality interacts with the situation to influence behaviors. Personality can help predict job performance.

Personality is represented by 5 traits (factors): Openness Conscientiousness Extraversion Agreeableness Negative emotions
This five factor model is also called OCEAN model.

Individuals behaves according to certain distinctive patterns throughout a variety of situation.

Humans observed by these behaviors. we might use words such as talkative, cheerful, Cold, organized, compulsive, intellectual, shrewd, shortsighted, or flirtatious to describe Various people we know.

Understanding about individuals thinking, action and respond to environment categorize and describe the ways in which peoples personalities differ.

Conscientiousness: the degree of organization, dependability, and achievement-orientation. Facets: Competence, Order, Dutifulness, Achievement-Striving, Self-Discipline, Deliberation Example: Over the years Ive done some pretty stupid things.

Conscientiousness idealize image describe persons of strong moral principle and absolute certainty. They are concerned primarily With getting jobs done and getting them done right with Loyalty, hardworking and achievement oriented.

Try to avoid trouble and achieve high levels of success through purposeful planning and persistence. They are positively regarded by others as intelligent reliable and responsible. Intelligent activity involves contemplation of long-range goals, organizing and planning routs towards achieve these goals

People who score high on the trait of conscientiousness tend to be more organized and less cluttered in their homes and offices. For example, their books tend to be neatly shelved in alphabetical order, or categorized by topic, rather than scattered around the room. These attribute shows that conscientious personality is tend to be responsible . Their clothes tend to be folded and arranged in drawers or closets instead of lying on the floor. The presence of planners and to-do lists are also signs of conscientiousness. Their homes tend to have better lighting than the homes of people who are low on this trait.

Conscientiousness is related to successful academic performance in students as well as in Workplace. Although conscientiousness is generally seen as a positive trait to possess, recent research has suggested that in some situations it may be harmful for well-being. In a prospective study of 9,570 individuals over four years, highly conscientiousness people suffered more than twice as if they became unemployed. The authors suggested this may be due to conscientious people making different attributions about why they became unemployed, or through experiencing stronger reactions following failure. This finding is consistent with perspectives which see no trait as inherently positive or negative, but rather the consequences of the trait being dependant on the situation and concomitant goals and motivations.

Conscientiousness is normally measured by self-report. A questionnaire might ask if the test-taker agrees or disagrees with statements such as Do you make sure you are on the for

appointment? or can you always be fully relied upon? A questionnaire consisting yes , Maybe
and No indicates the opinion of people towards Responsible, Irresponsible and in between both.

Responsibility is a trait that leans somewhat towards introversion. Those with high scores are likely to be conscientious (even compulsively so), reliable, trustworthy and serious-minded. But while many extravert traits portray a person in good shape, if not taken to extremes, an element of introversion in the area of responsibility serves as a valuable balance.
Those with low scores are more inclined to be casual, careless, unpredictable and perhaps socially irresponsible, in an extraverted manner. To cause effects without the appropriate knowledge and understanding, and without proper control of what happens, is irresponsible, as is to do nothing when you know something should be done. So like the ability to reflect, this can be a weak area in those who are uninhibited but do not have the necessary awareness - of themselves and the viewpoints of others - to act responsibly.

Miss farzana, Mr shahbaz and mr tayab and some other people s questionnaire represent that the conclusion of my project resulted that there are 50% people are Responsible, 40% are Irresponsible and 30% people are in between responsible and irresponsible. I found with analysis that the people who are higher in responsible trait are conscientiousness and there performance as a student and as a employee is more reliable and in my project 50% people are responsible and it is appreciable. And irresponsible person or in between responsible and irresponsible are the people who are Impulsive, careless in there work and disorderly perform there duties.
