It is a flagship company of US $15 billion O.P Jindal Group. It started its operation in 1984. The M.D is Ms. Sminu Jindal. First company in India to manufacture Submerged Arc Welded Pipes (U-O-E Technology). It a un disputed leader in Indian market with a turnover in excess of `7000 crore. In 2006 it realigned itself by disposing off business in US & focused on Indian emerging market.

It produces a large numbers of product, like-large diameter submerged arc pipes, Spiral pipes, bends for energy transportation sector. Company also provide other services like- pipe coating, bends & connector casting to its client. There are 3 Strategic Business Unit: Large Diameter Pipes, Seamless Tubes, Ductile Iron Pipes. Every SBU has its own sales & marketing targets & operations. Recently launch Jindal ITF subsidiary.

This unit manufactures and markets large diameter longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) It also manufactures Helical submerged arc wielded (HSAW) pipes from coils. Pipes used for transportation of Oil and Gas. Size of implementation: Users: Approx 400 Licenses: 150 Locations: Three spread across multiple cities in India
