MOTIVATION

Requirement of portable PCs is growing. Consumers don't compromise performance and battery life. Public look for a fast OS Android has 2 features to construct server platform open source product run on an x86 CPU Beagle board hardware is a low cost, low power single board computer.

PREVIOUS WORKS

Earlier tablet PCs used windows vista, windows 7,linux OS and its ported on ARM processors mainly.

Recently manufacturers started porting Android on ARM processors, OMAP with ARM based applications.

OBJECTIVE
To port Android on to beagle board. Main aspects include OS building, OS customization, optimization and OS device drivers. To develop

LITERATURE SURVEY

This paper is taken to study an OMAP application. Here, OMAP is used to view an image in different directions. Proposed algorithms are applied on both cores i.e. DSP and ARM.
