A tag question is a sentence with a question phrase connected at the end. Example: Its windy today, isnt it?

(the speaker does not expect an answer) Example:

Step 1: Identify the verb in the sentence.

We use tag questions at the end of statements to ask for confirmation.

They mean something like: "Am I right?" or "Do you agree?
