Fight Poverty
Many children still do not have access to native English speakers. Many schools can not afford the salaries required to employ native speakers. Often it is only the wealthy parents that can guarantee their children an education that ensures that they will understand and confidently use the English language. The disadvantaged remain just that; disadvantaged -through lack of opportunity. This cycle of poverty continues to exist. Helping to redress this inequality provides hope for the future. Language skills offer a better employment future and a way to tackle the issues of poverty. Children become more confident and look forward to school when it can provide the added provision of a foreign teacher It can only be a good thing if the adults of the next generation know that they will be able to provide their own children an improved life existence because a change for the better happened in their own childhoods.

Education
We believes that offering free education to these children can help to make the difference. I am looking for groups to support me to support my cause, my cause is to help children out of poverty through education. Children who have no education in 1st world countries or 3rd world countries have little chance to a good job, most take the easy way out crime (etc) but here in Cambodia some parents sell there children into prostitution. Supporting a school term can seem a strange concept to the uninitiated. But this is a common misconception about my cause supporting is not what you are paying for, its the satisfaction of watching a child grow and be educated, and finally join the work force as an educated person.

While I cant change Cambodia, I absolutely hope to help prevent these children from being illiterate. Lets Look At Duang Lem

Duang Lem is northwest of Phnom Penh in the Battambang province (Cambodia) near to the Ban Leam border market in Thailand. As an under developed area the roads quickly turn to mud in the wet season and many of the homes and businesses only provide the basic amenities.

The Childrens Futures

Cambodian children have a cultural obligation to help and provide financial support to their parents. Many are forced to leave home (particularly in rural areas) to seek employment. This means factory work and hard manual labour with low wages and long hours. For others there is no escape from drug trafficking, prostitution or a life

Chamreunbuth School
Chamreunbuth school provides a basic education and facilities unknown in western schools. Classrooms are small and crowded. Children have a hunger to learn, particularly from native speakers. Many of the children come from impoverished homes selling cans and plastic bottles to increase the family income.

All we ask is let the children be children, give them a chance in life. We in the developed world take it for granted. The ability to speak English will help improve the futures of the children. We know we cant help every child in Cambodia But we can help a hand full with your help.
