So there is a need to identify the impact of the information technology

Information technology is vital like other resources such as man, money, material, machinery and methods. Without information technological system can not function in the competitive market.

The banking sector is very important to the country because it has contributed lot to the countrys national income. And also each and every bank facilitates to every citizen to maintain accounts and other facilities as well.

 Data to be used

Both data will be used, that is primary data as well as secondary data. Where the primary data are collecting by questionnaire, personal interviews. On the other hand secondary data will be collected through the articles, journals, annual reports and some researches report and magazines.

The main sources of collecting data will be questionnaires, interviews, articles, journals and web sites. The questionnaires will be given to the sample in order to collect data. And I wish to distribute questionnaires in kandy District branch.

And also it will possible to obtain replies for all unstructured interviews which will be carried out with the IT managers of each bank. Relevant documents, records, annual reports were perused to collect data relating to the banks.

Methods of Data analysis

The data analysis part will be done by using the statistical method such like MS Excel to the analysis of data obtaining from primary source. And data analysis will be done with using descriptive statistics such as mean, median and Standard deviation.

In conclusion and recommendation part I wish to give the final results about how the information technology get involved in state bank[Peoples Bank] and a private bank [Commercial Bank] with using analyzed datas.
