Introduction :-

5G : 5th Generation wireless communication mobile technology.it is next phase of telecommunications standards beyond the 4G. 5G fully implemented around the year 2020.
5G network is very fast and reliable.

It support real world wireless or called WWWW: World Wide Wireless Web and High connectivity.
5G technology is offering the services in Product Engineering, Documentation, supporting electronic transactions (e-Payments, e-transactions).

Zero Generation Mobile Systems : 1945, the zero generation (0G) of mobile telephones was introduced. 0g radio telephone system contained one central antenna tower per region.

0G mobile telephones , Officially not categorized as mobile phones, since it not support the did not support the automatic change of channel frequency during calls, which allows the user to move from one cell (handover). Motorola manager Martin Cooper made the first call on a handheld mobile phone on April 3, 1973.

First Generation Mobile Systems : Early 1980, the first generation (1G) of mobile telephones was introduced. Standards-AMPS technology . , technology-analog cellular

service voice , multiplexing - FDMA , switchingcircuit switching ,core network - PSTN , handoverhorizontal. It support speed up to 2.4kbps No cross operator rooming faculties (for one country) , low capacity , unreliable handover , poor voice link, Variations signaldisrupts over long distances.

Second Generation Mobile Systems : Fielded in the late 1980s and finished in the late 1990s. Planned for voice and text transmission with digital signal the speeds up to 9.4kbps and speech quality ,coverage , security , Channel access, roaming Support.

Standards-gsm , tdma cdma , technology-digital cellular technology .

Service-voice and message , multiplexing TDMA,CDMA , switching-circuit ,core network - pstn , handoverhorizontal . Not support video streaming.

Third Generation Mobile Systems : around 2000, the third telephones was introduced.
Standards-wcdma technology . ,

Speed of 3g wireless communication 2mbps.

Forth Generation Mobile Systems : September 2008 US launch a 4G network in Baltimore. 4G is still in the cloud of the sensible standards creation. Standards-signal unified , technology-unified ip ,combination of broadband , lan , wan , wlan , pan . multiplexing - cdma , switching- all packet ,core network -internet , handover - horizontal and vertical. provide facilities such as voice, data and streamed multimedia . 4G architecture includes three basic areas of connectivity; PANs WANs , and cellular connectivity. 4G is set to deliver 100mbps to a roaming mobile device globally, and up to 1Gbps to a stationary device.

Fifth Generation Mobile Systems : 5g technology is comes under research it is fully developed 2015 t0 2020. Speed 1gbps to more. Standards-signal unified standards , technology-unified ,combination of broadband , lan , wan , wlan , pan, wwww . ip

multiplexing - cdma , switching- all packet ,core network -internet , handover - horizontal and vertical. Offers more power & features in hand held phone, High connectivity , Multi-Media Newspapers, watch T.V programs with the clarity as to that of an HD T.V.

Functional architecture for 5G mobile networks :-

Cont It is based on IP based model for wireless and mobile networks It consist number of user terminals and radio access technologies having different radio interfaces. For example as given in architecture there are different radio technologies having different interfaces they may be active at same time so some mechanism is required to do so. The first two OSI levels that are data link layers and physical layers defines the radio access technologies through which is provided access to internet with more or less QOS mechanism. Above these two layer there is network layer which provides communication regardless radio access technology .

Cont Application connection are realized between client and server in internet via sockets and these are the endpoints between which communication flows.

Socket is unique combination of local IP address and local communication port ,target IP address and target communication port.
On basis of definite protocols communication will be established. Like in Internet protocol appropriate socket is decided for communication. For connection between heterogeneous network , local and target IP address should be fixed and remain unchanged. There is one more problem of handover between radio technologies is also there which will be solved by fixing IP address .

Protocol Layout Proposed Architecture

When there will be mobile user at one end there must be some provision for protecting packets from being lost and proper routing . Each RAT has unique and appropriate IP interface.

Each IP interface consists of IP address , net masks and parameters associated with routing.
When there will be inter system handover then local IP addresses get changed and then socket also get changed. It means closing of one socket and starting new one which is inflexible and cannot be used in normal communication. In order to solve this deficiency there must be protocol stack in higher layers.

In above proposed architecture there will be control system which works in complete coordination with the user terminal and provides a network abstraction functions and routing of packets based on defined policies .

It is present on the internet side of proposed architecture and which determines the quality of services of each technology.
It tests the each technology qualitatively and obtain the realistic view of quality that can be expected by the user towards the given server on the internet. The network abstraction level would be provided by creating IP tunnels over IP interfaces obtained by connection to the terminal via the access technologies available to the terminal (i.e., mobile user).

The tunnel will be created between the user terminal and control system that is known as policy router.

Client side will create appropriate no. of tunnels according to radio access technologies. The client will only set a local IP address which will be formed with sockets Internet communication of client applications with Internet servers . The way IP packets are routed through tunnels, or choosing the right tunnel, would be served by policies whose rules will be exchanged via the virtual network layer protocol . The process of establishing a tunnel to the Policy Router, for routing based on the policies, are carried out immediately after the establishment of IP connectivity across the radio access technology, and it is initiated from the mobile terminal Virtual Network-level Protocol . Tunnel creation and maintenance of tunnel are basic functionality of virtual network layer.

KEY CONCEPTS OF 5G Real wireless world with no more limitation with access and zone issues. Internet protocol version 6 (IPv6), where a visiting care-of mobile IP address is assigned according to location and connected network. One unified global standard. Pervasive networks providing ubiquitous computing: The user can simultaneously be connected to several wireless access technologies and seamlessly move between them . These access technologies can be a 2.5G, 3G, 4G or 5G mobile networks, Wi-Fi, WPAN or any other future access technology .In 5G, the concept may be further developed into multiple concurrent data transfer paths.

cont

Cognitive radio technology, also known as smart-radio: allowing different radio technologies to share the same spectrum efficiently by adaptively finding unused spectrum and adapting the transmission scheme to the requirements of the technologies currently sharing the spectrum.

The radio interface of 5G communication systems is suggested in a Korean research and development program to be based on beam division multiple access (BDMA) and group cooperative relay techniques.

Features of 5G Technology : 5G technology offer high resolution for crazy cell phone user and bidirectional large bandwidth shaping. The advanced billing interfaces of 5G technology makes it more attractive and effective. 5G technology also providing subscriber supervision tools for fast action. The high quality services of 5G technology based on Policy to avoid error. 5G technology is providing large broadcasting of data in Gigabit which supporting almost 65,000 connections. 5G technology offer transporter class gateway with unparalleled consistency. The traffic statistics by 5G technology makes it more accurate.

Features of 5G Technology : The 5G technology network offering enhanced and available connectivity just about the world Through remote management offered by 5G technology a user can get better and fast solution. The remote diagnostics also a great feature of 5G technology. The 5G technology is providing up to 25 Mbps connectivity speed. The 5G technology also support virtual private network.

The new 5G technology will take all delivery service out of business prospect.
The uploading and downloading speed of 5G technology touching the peak.

conclusion :-

A new revolution of 5G technology is going to give tough completion to normal computer and laptops whose marketplace value will be effected. The new coming 5G technology is available in the market in affordable rates, high peak future and much reliability than its preceding technologies This technology helps to promotes stronger links between people working in different fields creating future concepts of mobile communication , internet services , cloud computing , all pie network , and nanotechnology .
