As a child,buffett displayed interest in saving and making money He went door to door ,selling chewing gums, coca-cola and weekly magazines etc. From that money he and his friend purchased pin-ball machine @ 25 $ and placed in the local barber shop at the age of 15.

He bought first stock at the age of 11 and now he regrets that he started too late
By the time he finished college he had accumulated more than $ 90000 in savings He received M.S. in Economics from Columbia business school in 1951. His Role-models: Benjamin Graham(1894-1976) Phil Fisher(1907-2004)

Buffett invested in and eventually took control of a textile manufacturing firm, Berkshire Hathaway. Buffett became a billionaire on paper when Berkshire Hathaway began selling class A shares on May 29, 1990, when the market closed at $7,175 a share. In 2008, Buffett became the richest man in the world dethroning Bill Gates, worth $62 billion according to Forbes.

He has donated 31 billions $ to charity. He bought small farm at age of 14 with savings delivering from newspapers. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.
He has given his CEO's only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.
Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk. The salary for the CEO is US$100,000 per year with no stock options, which is among the lowest salaries for CEOs of large companies in the United States.

Encourage your children to invest. Encourage your children to start some kind of business . Don't buy more than what you "really need" and encourage your children to do and think the same.

Stay away from credit cards (bank loans). Don't do what others say, just listen them, but do what you feel good.

Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on them who really in need rather.

Dont invest in gold. Picking the right stock. Be careful in selling stock. Get the investing mindset.
