Hi, Wonderful kids of SLRCC! Time for our bible! Read the bible (let mom and dad help if needed but it will be nice if you try to do it on your own) and provide the words to complete the given memory verses. Submit your finished work to sister Jane not later than June 16, 2010. Memorize them and you get additional tokens. You can exchange your tokens for some beautiful prizes from the SLRC Office Redemption Center.

It was a creative way of knowing Jesus, the Bible, our Mama Mary and the Church. Our children had their Summer Camp as they enthusiastically participated in the 3-day journey. Indeed, a walk with God a relaxing moment at the same time a learning session as our children make a reconnection with God. The celebrated Old Testament character Enoch lived for 365 years, walked in close fellowship with God. Then God took him too in close fellowship with Him. (Genesis 5:23-24). The two disciples had their share of this close fellowship when they travelled with Jesus on the way to Emmaus. It was through this journey that they came to know/understand the scriptures, recognized the risen Lord and were strengthened to preach Jesus to others. May we continue to provide opportunities for our children to walk with God. Jesus said, Let the children come to me, let them discover God the Father who loves them, know Jesus who is the way and the Holy Spirit who leads to all truth.

Greetings po sa inyong lahat! So many activities in so short a time but it is worth the effort. The Youth Summer Camp 2010 especially. There were 31 participants. Their antics especially the young ones were priceless! The adult facilitators could not have made it successfully without the 8 young facilitators and their help. We now have quite a number of young people who have become active in pastoral work... this is something worth rejoicing about and we thank the Lord for making this thing happen. Other than our activity highlights, we have included in this issue our April financial report, our tithes summary, and a list of tithe-givers in Baguio Benguet to assure you we are not alone in this selfsufficiency or sariling sikap endeavor. By staying committed in giving our love offerings and tithes or any help we can, we will be able to finish our much needed function hall and sustain activities which we have started. Other communities started giving tithes way ahead of us, some as early as 2003. They have sustained it through the years and we hope we will sustain ours just as well. Clearly, our growth as a catholic community is in our hands. God Bless. Your PPC Officers and members
