Rotary screen printing machine:
1.Rotary screen printing involves a series
of revolving cylinders, each with revolving
screens.

2. A stationary squeegee inside the

cylinders which forces the print paste onto
the fabric.

3.Twenty or more colors can be printed

at the same time.

4.The process is much quicker and more

efficient than flat screen printing.

5.This machine was introduced in the mid

1950s.Since the 1970s it has grown to
dominate the textile printing market.
Different sections of a standard
Rotary screen printing machine:
Entry Frame.
Printing Block.
Squeegee.

Fabric exit.
Entry Frame:
The entry arrangement
manufactured from
sectional steel is
designed to be used
with both woven and
knitted fabric.

A special curved plate

ensures that the fabric
is delivered onto the
printing blanket in
crease free form.

The entry frame is

offered with an option
for either delivery of
plaited fabric or fabric
from batch.
Printing Block:
The printing block is
designed for optional
repeat settings
irrespective of printing
speeds and fabric
qualities.

All screen heads are

driven by means of a
torsion free shaft which
is also linked to the
printing blanket. To
ensure exact
synchronization these
are all driven by one
main motor.

The rotary screen
printing machine is
also designed as all of
the main controls and
adjustment

side of the machine.

technicians are in
optimum position to

Squeegee system:
1. Rod or Blade

inside the metal
cylinder.

printer's blanket
Gluing System:
1. All machines are
equipped with a
gluing system for
water soluble glue as
standard. The gluing
width and quantity of
the glue can be
adjusted by means of
the gluing rollers
which are contact
driven by the printing
blanket.

2. An automatic level
control system is
offered as an option.
Print paste pump
system:
1. The print paste
pumps are located
under the platform
on the opposite side
of the machine to the
main drive.

2. The location of the

pumps below floor
level allows for the
installation and
removal of the
screens and
squeegees without
obstruction.

3.To allow for the

reduction of water
consumption during
Blanket washing system:
1. The blanket washing
system is located under
the printing block at the
point where the blanket
makes its return under the
machine.

2. A combination of
sponges and water spray
pipes ensure that all the
residual print paste and
fibers are removed from
the printing blanket. The
residual water is removed
by rubber squeegee.
Screen Heads:
1. A standard
machine should be
equipped with about
650mm of repeat
size.

2. All screens
utilizing the Stork
end ring system can
be used on the
machines.

3. Different repeat
sizes are available
as an optional extra
up to a maximum of
1018mm.

Dryer system:
All machine
should have
large range of
dryers to suit all
equipments.
These can be
specified to suit
each customer’s
individual
needs. Dryers
can be heated
by means of gas,
circulating oil or
steam.
Fabric exit:
All dryers are
equipped with a
plaiter on exit as
standard. For the
1620mm and
1850mm machines
this plaiter is
mounted on top of
the dryer. For the
wider 2400mm and
2800mm machines
the plaiting unit has
a separate frame
mounted directly at
the exit of the dryer.
