CYBER CRIME
Cyber crime is criminal activity done using computers and the Internet. This includes anything from downloading illegal music files to stealing millions of dollars from online bank accounts. Cybercrime also includes nonmonetary offenses, such as creating and distributing viruses on other computers or posting confidential business information on the Internet.

HACKING
Hacking in simple terms means illegal intrusion into a computer system without the permission of the computer owner/user.
Section 66 of Information Technology Act: 2000 Whoever commits hacking shall be punished with imprisonment up to three years, or with fine which may extend up to two lakh rupees, or with both.

DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACK

This is an act by the criminal,, who floods the bandwidth of the victim's network or fill's his email box with spam mail depriving him of the services he is entitled to access or provide.
Section 66 (f) Information Technology Act: 2000 Whoever commits Denial of Service Attack shall be punished with imprisonment Up to 2 years and/or with fine up to Rs. 5 lakh.

VIRUS DISSEMINATION
Malicious software that attaches itself to other software.. (virus,, worms,, Trojan Horse,, Time bomb,, Logic Bomb,, Rabbit and Bacterium are the malicious software's)

Cyber Stalking can be defined as the repeated acts harassment or threatening behavior of the cyber criminal towards the victim by using internet services. The Criminal follows the victim by sending emails,, entering the chat rooms frequently..
