The problem is partially modifiable since the family income is low for the nutritional status of the children Problem can be solve in a span of time by giving quality nutritious foods that can also be bought in less expensive quantity and monitoring the dietary intake of the children according to the plan recommended dietary allowances of children The family perceives it as a problem that needs immediate attention since all the children are undernourished.

Inadequate financial resources to sustain health and development to the children who are suffering from malnourishment.

After nursing interventions, the childrens nutritional condition are expected to improve and they would manifest a good eating habits.

After nursing interventions, the family will be able: a. To plan and prepare balanced meal

1.Discussed with the family the nature of the problem: -complications -management 2. Discussed with the family food selection, and the food preparation. 3.Modified the meal in such a way that it looks appealing to children. 4.Encouraged the parents to feed their children nutritious foods like vegetables . 5. Discouraged the child to eat Unhealthy foods. (junk foods)

Endorsed it to the other group for further evaluation.

The family recognizes it as a problem but not needing immediate attention because malnutrition is the first priority of the family
