Todays Problem

way your organisation manages EHS as the organisation does not have any EHS management systems that conformed (certified) with any of the EHS international/ national standards.
The client refused to sign contract with your organisation. You were tasked to help the organisation in bridging the gaps

by introducing an internationally/ nationally recognised EHS management system(s) and explain the steps required in achieving it

What you have learnt

The driving forces for an organisation to develop MS in managing EHS

aspects as well as to go for certification

There are two international standards on EHS MS, i.e.:
ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Management Systems OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational health and safety management systems

There are two national standards on HS MS, i.e.:

SS 506 Part 1: 2009 Occupational safety and health (OSH) management system SS 506 Part 3: 2009 Occupational safety and health (OSH) management system

These standards were based on the methodology known as Plan- Do- Check-

Act (PDCA).
