TMSI
TMSI: Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identify Function: Taking the place of IMSI to be transferred in radio interface to ensure the security of subscribers information.
Structure: consists of 4 octets, and the structure and coding can be chosen by agreement between operator and manufacturer in order to meet local needs.
Type:
TMSI, used in CS domain, allocated by VLR; P-TMSI, used in PS domain, allocated by SGSN;
Notes: the TMSI has only local significance (i.e. within a VLR and the area controlled by a VLR, or within an SGSN and the area controlled by an SGSN).

SPARE

The IMEI is composed of the following elements (each element shall consist of decimal digits only):
Type Allocation Code (TAC). Its length is 8 digits; Serial Number (SNR) is an individual serial number uniquely identifying each equipment within each TAC. Its length is 6 digits; Spare digit: this digit shall be zero, when transmitted by the MS.

CC: Country Code NDC: National Destination Code SN: Subscriber number

MSRN
MSRN: Mobile Station Roaming Number Function: to route calls to called MS/UE Structure: the same as MSISDN Notes:
The MSRN must not be used for subscriber dialling. The MSRN normally uses number segment different from that of MSISDN. MSRN is allocated by the VLR that the called MS is visiting.
Page31
Private user identity: the unique global identifier of IMS users subscription . It is similar to IMSI, stored in HSS and cant be modify by UE. The Private User Identity identifies the subscription, not the user.
Format: similar to Email address. E.g. sip: zs6201081988@operator1.com
Public user identity: the called identifier of IMS subscriber when IMS subscriber using telecommunication service. It is similar to MSISDN, and can be informed to other subscribers.
Format: there are two types of public ID format, i.e. SIP URI and Tel URI SIP URI sip: Mike_public@operator1.com tel URI: +86 139 0001 2000

MSC/VLR/HLR/SGSN/GGSN Number
MSCs, GSNs and location registers are identified by international PSTN/ISDN numbers and/or Signalling Point Codes ("entity number", i.e., "HLR number", "VLR number", "MSC number", "SGSN number" and "GGSN number") in each PLMN.
Page34
IP address: SGSN, GGSN, CG, MGW, MSC Server will use IP address to communicate to other network nodes.
IPv4 address: 32 bits, e.g. 10.136.20.15; IPv6 address: 128 bits, e.g. FEDC:BA98:7654:3210:FEDC:BA98:7654:3210

Operator ID
The APN Network Identifier which defines to which external network the GGSN is connected to and optionally a requested service by the MS. This part of the APN is mandatory.
The APN Operator Identifier which defines in which PLMN GPRS backbone the GGSN is located. This part of the APN is optional.
Page36
In IMS subsystem, SIP protocol is widely used, and SIP address is used to identify related network equipment. For example, P/S/I-CSCF, BGCF, MGCF etc. use SIP address for addressing.

By detecting LAI, MS/UE may perform Location Area Update procedure. The Paging message for idle UE is broadcasted within a LA in CS domain.

MCC: Mobile Country Code MNC: Mobile Network Code LAC: Location Area Code, 2 octets, using a full hexadecimal representation except 0000 and FFFE.

RAI = LAI + RAC Routing Area Code (RAC) which is a fixed length code (of 1 octets) identifying a routing area within a location area.
Page42
The Service Area Identifier is used to identify an area consisting of one or more cells belonging to the same Location Area. Service Area can be used for indicating the location of a UE to the CN.
MCC MNC LAC SAC
SAI = LAI + SAC SAC: Service Area Code, 2 octets, using a full hexadecimal representation
Page43
CGI, Cell Global Identification, the unique identifier of a Cell in the PLMN.
CGI = LAI + CI CI: Cell Identity, is of fixed length with 2 octets and it can be coded using a full hexadecimal representation. Cell Identity must be unique within a location area.
