Air Sahara offers Delhi-London for Rs 10,000

In a move to promote its new website, celebrate the New Year and launch its London flight, Air Sahara is offering a return fare of Rs 10,000 between the two capitals The offer will be available on bookings made on the Web site and will be offering 2006 return air tickets between Delhi and London at Rs 10,000 each

Kingfisher Airlines extends special fares for Govt staff

KINGFISHER Airlines has announced special fares for all personnel serving in the Indian Armed Forces, the Union Government, State governments, and employees of all public sector units in the country. The immediate families of these personnel parents, spouses and dependent children - are also eligible for these reduced and special fares. These fares are available to all destinations served by Kingfisher Airlines.

Promotional fares from IA

Indian Airlines (IA) has announced a promotional fare on the Hyderabad-MuscatHyderabad sector in the economy class. The fare, claimed to be the lowest on the sector, is Rs 6,945 one-way (Hyderabad to Muscat). The return fare is offered at Rs 12,760

GoAir begins ticket sales, announces FreeFares offer

The low-cost airline promoted by the Wadia Group, GoAir has commenced sale of tickets as of Friday (October 21). The Wadia Group are the owners of Bombay Dyeing and Britannia Industries Ltd. To start with the airline will operate on the Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad and Coimbatore routes.

The airline has announced the GoAir FreeFares launch offer under which it will make available 10,000 free tickets per month per destination. These tickets will be available on a `first come first serve' basis. The offer will be valid for six months from October 2005 to March 2006, and passengers who book early stand to get a zero fare; they would only have to pay taxes of Rs 221.

Kingfisher launches 2 fixed fare offers

KINGFISHER Airlines has announced two new fixedprice schemes offering six flights each. The King Saver offers entitle a flier to six coupons for travel between any two destinations of the airline, a release said. The scheme is open till November 15 while the coupons can be used till March 31 next. King Saver Corporate at Rs 28,000 is for companies and is valid for any executive for one-way journey. For the individual purchaser, King Saver Personal comes at Rs 25,000. Both include all taxes. The King Saver Offer comes at an opportune time as guests who purchase tickets under this offer are insulated from any increase in fares

SpiceJet to offer 9,999 seats for Rs 999

Through this initiative for the holiday season, SpiceJet will make 9,999 seats available as "Red Hot Specials" for Rs 999, per flight segment on the six sectors that the airline flies. These fares will only be accessible on the Internet SpiceJet operates in the Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Goa, Pune and Bangalore markets, utilising Boeing 737-800 aircrafts in an all-economy configuration of 189 seats

Air Arabia offers MumbaiSharjah service at Rs 2,999

The airline is promising fares which are 10-15 per cent lower than that of conventional airlines for passengers who show up at the airport at the last moment. Air Arabia is to start a daily service on the Mumbai-Sharjah sector from March 26 and has announced an introductory one-way fare of Rs 2,999.

Cathay to offer 30 pc cut in fares to US, UK, Australia

KEEPING an eye on the approaching holiday season, Cathay Pacific will soon come out with an advanced purchase scheme for travel to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in the coming summer season. The Hong Kong-based airline will offer a 30 per cent discount on tickets booked to these destinations between March 1 and March 31. The offer, to open on March 1, will be valid for outbound travel undertaken by May 15, while the return journey can be undertaken during the validity period of the ticket.

IA launches new one-year scheme

INDIAN Airlines (IA) has introduced a new scheme Bumper super saver scheme under which a passenger can take 16 domestic flights over a one-year period for Rs 65,000.

Air Deccan launches two new schemes

AIR Deccan has introduced two new schemes - Super Flier and Super Flier plus - which offer 30 and 36 tickets at reduced rates to passengers. In a statement, the airline has said that under the Super Flier scheme, a passenger who pays Rs 50,000 gets 30 flight tickets for any short-haul sector that the airline operates with the ATR aircraft. Underthe Super Flier plus scheme, the airline is offering 36 tickets for Rs 1,00,000. The statement adds that the passenger can utilise the ticket issued under the scheme for any of the sectors that the airline operates to, including the long-haul routes. The airline operates the Airbus A-320 aircraft on long-haul routes.
